TSG Employment Talks: “Travel Orders, Business Trips, and Expense Reimbursement”

On 10 June 2025, at the coworking center “The Place” in Belgrade, a new workshop was held, dedicated to the ever-important topics on subject of work law and business practice, as a part of the TSG Employment Talks program.

The main subject of this professional gathering was the introduction of an electronic manual “Travel Orders, Business Trips, and Expense Reimbursement,” published by Poslovna literatura doo (Business literature LLC). The authors of this manual are Marijana Zejaković, partner at TSG Lawyers, Vanja Nikolčić, an attorney at TSG Lawyers, as well as Ljubica Milenković, a licensed accountant with contributions from tax advisor Bojana Minić.

The manual offers a comprehensive approach to organizing and recording business trips, with special emphasis on legal, tax, and accounting aspects. During the event, Marijana Zejaković and Vanja Nikolčić presented the legal framework regulating business travel, including employer obligations and employee rights, the procedure for issuing travel orders, as well as relevant legal provisions.

Following their presentation, Ljubica Milenković and Bojana Minić addressed the accounting and tax implications, particularly the correct recording of expenses and the most common mistakes in practice.

The presentation was interactive in nature, with a large number of questions and discussions from attendees with practical experience, which further contributed to the exchange of knowledge and experiences among participants.

This event once again highlighted the importance of integrating legal and financial perspectives in addressing everyday challenges in business operations and human resource management.
