TSG participated in Market Focus: Serbie event in Geneva

On Tuesday, 14 June 2022, Market Focus: Serbie conference was held in The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG) with the main aim of promoting Serbia as investment destination to potential Swiss investors. The event was organized by CCIG and Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SSCC) and the two Chambers signed Memorandum of Understanding at this event.

The speakers at the conference included: H.E. Mr. Goran Bradić, Ambassador of Serbia to Switzerland, Mr. Vincent Subilia, CCIG General Director, Mr. Majo Mićović, SSCC President and General Manager of Sky Express, Ana Grujović, SSCC Executive Director and  Marjana Davidović, Country Manager Nestlé Adriatic Hub South. Our colleague Balša Stevanović, Attorney At Law, gave a presentation on behalf of TSG Lawyers Belgrade, a law firm member of SSCC.

Market Focus: Serbie event aimed to attract potential Swiss investors and the main topics were related to the main caracteristics of our county and Serbian market, the advantages of investing in Serbia and successful stories of Swiss companies doing business in Serbia. TSG Attorney At Law Balša Stevanović presented the legal aspects of investing in Serbia, advantages and incentives, Serbian tax system and new tax incentives.In conclusion, our colleague presented the main directions of economic and legal reforms in Serbia and gave examples of important laws in Serbia which are aligned with EU regulation.

The official part was followed by a coctail, at which participants could hear more on Serbia as investment destination, and also get more detailed responses to their queries related to investing in our country. The event was held in bilingual format (English-French) and our colleague presented legal aspects of investing in Serbia to potential Swiss investors in French.
