TSG Lawyers are proud to announce that Ljubica Tomić will participate as a panellist at the IDI Conference 2026, taking place on 5–6 June 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal. This year the IDI Confrence ist focused on

Managing Termination and Post-Termination in Agency, Distribution and Franchise Agreements

Ljubica Tomic will be at the panel addressing the topic of “Managing termination with a distributor in financial difficulty”. Her contribution will focus on complex legal and practical issues, including:

• How local laws affect the decision to take action that may place distributors into financial distress or bankruptcy
• Potential claims distributors may advance against manufacturers in these circumstances and their enforceability
• The relevant bankruptcy and insolvency laws in order to minimize brand damage
• The availability of security and enforcement mechanisms for securing obligations
• Governing law and arbitration considerations in cross-border distribution relationships
• Practical remedies to avoid marketplace disruption

in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, and North Macedonia, bringing valuable regional expertise to this international dialogue.
