TSG Employment Talks – HR – Personal Data Protection in Employment Relations
TSG Law Office held another seminar within the TSG Employment Talks series, this time on the topic:
“HR – Personal Data Protection in Employment Relations”
The seminar took place on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the TSG Law Office.
The lecture was led by TSG attorneys Jelena Todorović and Vanja Nikolčić, who shared their experiences and expertise on the protection of personal data in employment relations, as well as on the obligations and rights of employers in this area.
The seminar covered the following key topics:
- Legal framework and required documentation
- What personal data can be requested from job candidates?
- Personal data of employees processed by the employer
- Processing of special categories of personal data
- Employees’ rights regarding personal data processing
- Information notice to employees about data processing
- Video surveillance in the workplace
- Court practice and decisions of the Commissioner
Throughout the lecture, participants had the opportunity to gain practical advice and guidance on the proper implementation of personal data protection regulations in employment relations, as well as insights into the challenges employers face daily in meeting these obligations.
After the presentations, a Q&A session followed, during which participants exchanged experiences and discussed real-life situations from practice.
