Dušan Pejkić elected Vice-Chair of the Real Estate AmCham Committee
TSG Partner Dušan Pejkić was elected Vice-Chair of the Real Estate Committee of the AmCham Serbia, while at the same time Mr Bojan Kaličanin of Delta Real Estate was elected Chairman.
In the elections held on 15 September 2023 AmCham Serbia members elected leadership of five working groups in the following areas: digital economy, energy, labour relations regulation, real estate, and human resources (HR).
AmCham Serbia is an organisation that serves as the voice of the American business community in Serbia. Based on the American business values of competitiveness, transparency and free enterprise, through proactive dialogue and open partnership with government, business and other key stakeholders, AmCham is a leader in improving the regulatory and business environment.
TSG Partner Dušan Pejkić is an attorney at law with many years of experience in a wide range of legal areas in which he advises domestic and foreign clients, focusing on real estate projects involving high legal complexity. His election to the leadership of AmCham’s Real Estate Working Group will allow him to be directly involved with other members of the organisation in regulatory reform, all aimed at improving the legal framework in this area in the Republic of Serbia, both for businesses and citizens.
When it comes to real estate – TSG’s team of experts advises on real estate and construction law (building permits, urban planning, use permits), procedures before the cadastre and land registry, tax optimisation of construction projects and real estate acquisitions, as well as the application of real estate financing models tailored to the client’s needs. The TSG team also advises clients on infrastructure projects in the Republic of Serbia.
With regard to recent changes in the regulatory framework in this area in the Republic of Serbia – the Serbian Parliament adopted the Law on Amendments to the Law on Planning and Construction.
