Professional Background

Vasilije Mitrovski graduated from the Faculty of Law (specializing in international law) and the Faculty of Philology (German Studies) of the University of Belgrade. As a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), he completed a Master’s degree in European and International Economic Law at the Faculty of Law of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he acquired a solid foundation in German law and the legal system of the Federal Republic of Germany. During his studies, he was a recipient of scholarships from the DAAD, the “Dositeja” Fund for Young Talents, and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.

Owing to his studies in German Studies, a completed specialized German language course for lawyers, and a two-year stay in Germany, he is fluent in legal German in both spoken and written communication.
