SERBIA: Validity of Work Permits Issued to Foreigners During the State of Emergency

A work permit issued to foreigners under the Law on Employment of Foreigners, which has expired or is due to expire during the state of emergency, will be deemed valid while the Decision on Declaration of the State of Emergency is still in force (Decision Concerning the Validity of Work Permits Issued to Foreigners During the State of Emergency of 26 March 2020, RS Official Gazette No. 43/20).

Please find our earlier update on temporary residence permits for foreigners during the state of emergency here.

Essentially, it is not necessary to reapply for temporary residence and work permits should they expire during the state of emergency, as they will be deemed valid under the above Government Decisions.
